The "E" and "B" screens are matte-centered, and among the easiest
screens in any camera to use (in the center) for manual focus (the
"E" has grid lines), being very contrasty and sharp, though not
astonishingly bright (brighter screens are often more difficult to
use for focusing). The "K" screen plops (for me, useless) the
split-image rf and microprism doughnut in the middle of prime
screen-focus territory... If you can see sharply around 3-4',
you should be able to use the "B" and "E" screens. You may have
guessed that I am not enthusiastic about the available bright
screens, even for low-light work...
