The N2000 was virtually identical, but had a built-in motor
(and a nice heft), making low-light hand-holding more reliable
than with the FG. Both are nice bodies, with nice features
(except lack of DOF preview, and interchangeable screens
[though the AF N2020 took care of the latter....]). The
batteries (AAA's, or with an MB-3, AA's) last forever
in N2000's.
