The best ultra-wides which are not TOO horribly expensive would be
either the AIS (or AF) 20mm f2.8 or the non-AI (or AI) 16mm f3.5
fisheye (you may not like the curvature of the fisheye,, but it can
show the whole room interior in one photo) Use either at f5.6 or
smaller apertures for superb quality out to the far corners of the image.
