Only the Sony TRV-9 and TRV-900 have an analogue input
currently, as far as I know. Sony is about to introduce
a stand-alone A-D/D-A FireWire converter that will make
it possible to feed analogue material to/from any
camcorder or computer FireWire in/out port. Given the
lower data rate mini-DV format requires compared with
that for roughly the same quality level from other
methods of digitization, this solution may make sense
even for non-mini-DV camcorder users...
