Why not just buy what you need...?
Start with the obvious: a good UV filter
for lens protection, and one of the
VERY long life NPF-960 batteries, then
maybe add a good mic(s) and WA lens
converter(s), shoulder-brace, case,
cleaning tape, good fluid-head tripod,
remote Lanc controller, or whatever
else you really need for the type of
work you do (you are the best judge
of what your needs are...). BTW, if
you are just beginning and this is
your first camcorder, and if you have
no need for XLR-type mics, you might
consider the similar (and noticeably
cheaper...) VX-2000 first...
