Get only what you need for your work. There is a long list
of possible options, but at least 1/3 would be useless for
most people (and not the same 1/3rd for everyone...;-). A
good start: a single-coated Hoya (NOT Tiffen...! ;-) 58mm
UV filter for lens protection (only), a Canon WD-58 .7X WA
converter, a Sony NPF-960 high-capacity battery (or a couple
of medium-sized ones), a suitable soft carrying case, and a
quantity of tape, *OF ONE BRAND ONLY*. Later, get the extra
mics, good fluid-head tripod, travel case, lights, etc. that are
appropriate for *your* way of working...
