Good points, and I do almost always ship an e-mail along with the post,
BUT, it is annoying to have 20-30% of those e-mails bounce back, due
to an inaccurate return e-mail address... (PLEASE, FOLKS, CHECK YOUR
RETURN E-MAIL ADDRESSES!!!) Also, it is understandable that if someone
is not sure if their idea is a good one, or if their statements are
correct, the writer may not want to post an answer or bit of advice
in such a public place (and risk a response from such as I...;-)
- unfortunately there already is a high percentage of inaccurate
or misleading posts... (however, this observation is *not* meant to
inhibit anyone from posting *anything* - we [uh, try to...;-] learn
from our mistakes... [which means that we must risk {and accept}
appearing foolish, occasionally...]).
