I do not think the XL-1 can do time-lapse - but I would
hestite to use it on the Sony cameras, which do (it requires
cycling of the tape mechanism for each "frame" [which is
actually 6-7 frames...]) - rather hard on the camera, I think...
Better, if possible, would be 2-hour LP-on-long-tape
recording, and using an editor to select frames - or,
connecting the camera directly to a computer and using
a time-lapse function in an editor...
