You might try, first, the Canon 72mm achromat
(??500) - these can give really excellent results
on video camera zoom lenses, and a very wide range of
magnification. There is very little DOF in macro work,
and AF sometimes does not work well for macro, so try
manual focus... If you do go the EF-adapter route,
you may find the 105 rather long - a 50mm macro may
be preferable (it will still be 35mm-equivalent of
a lens of about 350-400mm), and if it normally focuses
to 1:1, it will cover a VERY small area with video!
