Sony makes several WA converters that can be fitted to
37mm lens fronts...
The .6X zoom-through I tried on the PC-1 was good, but
softer than I like at the zoom short end (kinda what
I wanted it for...;-) - but it may perform better on
other cameras (matching is important, too). The VCL-ES06
has only a short OK zoom range, but it is generally sharp
(it would need a 37->52mm step-up ring, but the converter
itself is very compact and light [and cheap]).
