The Sony .6X works very well with this camcorder (the one made
for the Mavica still camera, and camcorders). You will need a step-up
ring, and I find it useful to add about three filters-worth of thickness
(empty filter rings work well, or I substitute a polarizer for two
of them to help pop up the color of my TRV-9 image...) between the
step-up ring and the plastic .6X mounting ring to get maximum width.
Only about the widest 1/3 of the zoom range is useable, though, but
the image is sharp and wide-angle...
