Read RGB's post for the specifics of your request
(the two angles-of-view are so close as to be almost
indistinguishable), to which I add: there are at least
three very high quality WA converters you can add to
the PD150, and these retain virtually all of the
original high image quality, in addition to all the
original excellent automatic and manual control
capabilities, zoom ratio, and stabilizer of this
camera: the Sony .7X HG-58, the Canon .7X WD-58,
and (for least linear distortion), the (inexpensive)
Raynox .66X-58...
(The standard lens on the XL-1 goes to 5.5mm, which translates to the
equivalent of 39mm on a 35mm camera. The Sony PD150/vx2000
goes to 6mm, which translates to 42.5mm equivalent. - GB)
