The WD-58 has no provision for a lens hood, but a simple
curved "lip" rubber-banded onto its top when mounted cures
its out-of-image-area overhead light-source problems
(otherwise it is relatively resistent to flare/ghosts). The
WD-58 is quite sharp over most of the zoom-lens range,
but it isn't very wide. The Sony non-zoom-through VCL-ES06
(for the Mavica) serves well enough for wider...
