The mini-plug mic/"line" input is on the handle, just
behingd the built-in mic. A bottom-mounting XLR adapter can
be added to the VX2000, if desired, but it will not
supply phantom power, as the PD150 will...

No. But one big difference for me: the VX2000 exposure
can be quickly and simply locked (and shifted) with a
one-button touch; the PD150 requires locking down two
of the three variables first (aperture/shutter-speed/gain)
before the lock button locks the exposure...
