I agree with the above, but note that
A) the VX2000 is not sold as a "pro quality
camcorder", good as its picture is.
B) the VX2000 is not noisier than some other
Mini-DV 3-CCD camcorders (when properly
matched to the mics used).
C) the VX2000 noise level is sufficiently
low for most uses.
D) given the very high image quality of the
VX2000 compared with its direct competition,
similar expectations are unfortunately also
made for its audio capabilities, leading to
disappointment.
