But, yes, in the comparisons I have seen - the
VX2000 could not only shoot in noticeably lower
light levels with good color and fine "grain"
than the GL2, but in good light, the picture
also showed slightly better resolution, and also
noticeably less annoying "oversharpening" effects...
Those 1/3rd inch HAD chips are kinda hard to beat
with the less sensitive and smaller chips in the
GL2 - but, as I pointed out earlier, the GL2 picture
appears to be a BIG improvement over that of the
GL1...;-)
