In the custom controls you can set various limits
on the gain rise with the VX-2000. If the camera
reaches its lower light limit (1/60th shutter and
wide-open lens, with whatever gain limit is set),
the picture will then just continue to darken in
straight auto mode.
This sounds like what you are looking for...?
