Yes - the Sony ECM-Z157 short-shotguns sound better (not set
"tele"...), and have less noise problem, but they are no
longer made, alas... (worth buying, if you see them - they
are small, directional, good-sounding [though quite
wind-sensitive, unlike the MKE-300s {I use these in pairs,
wrapped in airconditioner foam for excellent wind
resistence}]).
