No - room-light from leaks. After your eyes accommodate,
you can see in VERY low light levels (as the original
poster noted) - and all films require a "threshold" level
of intensity/time of light exposure before density appears
on the processed film (and I apparently stayed under that
threshold level while loading the Tri-X...;-).
