Yes - this is unfortunate, since the IR feature (with B&W
mode) can produce spectacular landscape video footage.
Sony got nervous about the silly/useless "X-ray" aspect
of daylight-IR and defeated this great feature. I keep an
old TRV9 for IR shooting...
