I (may...;-) agree. I have used them extensively for about 14 years,
and have had nothing but courteous, helpful, friendly dealings with
them, and I find their service fast, safe, and relatively inexpensive.
BUT, they did just lose a COD check. The first call produced no results.
The second call didn't either (though the promised same-day return call
could not have been made, due to my occupying the 'phone line [that
devil, the 'net, you know...;-]). The third call resulted in an immediate
return call, the acknowledgement that the $705 had not been sent, and the
promise that it would be by the end of the week (a return 24-hour supervisor's 'phone number, extension, and name were provided, along with
a case number). We shall see what results...
BTW, I deal directly with UPS (not with third-party, expensive package
places), and I realize that even the best businesses mess-up occasionally,
so I treat them as I would want to be treated: courteously and patiently.
(I also have ALL relevant information handy when I call, so that correct
and complete information can be relayed to them to help them track down
the lost item.)
I have always been impressed with the quality of the service UPS has
provided me, and I trust that that will continue.
Hope This Helps
