Jumping in on "angels-fear-to-tread" territory, I'm
confused, too...;-) The one Titanium .45X I tried
(along with the Sony 0637H, BTW...) was much wider
than .6X - do you have the lens zoomed all the way
short? (It wasn't as sharp as the Sony, though.)
As for color, optics can have color, but if you
are comparing the converters with AWB turned on,
and with the same subject matter and illumination,
it seems unlikely the color would be different,
especially after a couple of minutes pass...
