Try B&H in NYC, or call 800-NIKONUS - but I would look for a Tamron SP
28-135mm f4-4.5. I RARELY say this, but for once an off-brand lens
may be a better choice than a Nikkor. The 35-135mm Nikkor has better contrast, has less distortion, focuses closer (without using the macro feature of the Tamron which works at all focal-lengths), and has less of a problem with sidelight (the big shade made for the Tamron works), but the 28-135 is better at "wide" apertures (particularly in the corners), has a useful extension of range to 28mm (and cheats less in the range rating - it is unusual for Nikon to fudge the focal-length ratings as much as they do on this one), has virtually no speed shift with focal-length change, and is an over-all very good performer, even in macro mode. Alas, the Tamron is available only used.
Hope this helps.
