For your help. Most camera's I've seen only record at a
max of 500-530 lines. I'm not certain what you mean by 720+ (scan line
number)?

Video resolution is confusing to most people...
the DV standard is 720x(scan-line-count), the "SLC" for NTSC is 480, for
PAL,
525? This is the *pixel* count of the image. Because of the way
horizontal
res. for analogue TV is figured, this works out to be 540 lines
*maximum*,
which few cameras actually approach, since their resolution may be quite
a
bit less (DV camcorders range from maybe 300 to 530 lines horizontal).
So there are three essentially different resolutions involved...
