The SB-24 offers TTL, a wide range of auto exposure
choices, is compatible with the FE-2, is fairly compact,
quite powerful, and recycles quickly. You can even
do TTL fill-ratios with it by setting the ASA high
by the fill-ratio amount, and reading the meter
(match-needle manual) low by the fill-ratio amount.
(As in, with 200 ASA and one stop TTL flash underexposure
for fill, set the ASA on the camera to 400 and read the
aperture opposite the next lower shutter speed from the
one used...). Keep in mind the FE-2 maximum useable TTL
ASA of 400-500, though... (BTW, I have a couple of
slightly bigger [but wider-coverage, and with built-in
pop-up reflector card] SB-25s to sell...)
