Ah, thanks for the information...
It appears, then, that the low light range of the
TRV950 will be about the same as the TRV30 (and
therefore inadequate for serious work), and that
Sony did "listen" to all those who bought the smaller
similarly-priced TRV30 over the better TRV900 (while
complaining about the 900's "size and weight"...;-).
So we get a small and light, but nearly useless new
3-chipper that fits right along similar Panasonic
models that also have inadequate low-light range...
But, as I said earlier, it is probably best to get it
"in hand" before coming to too many conclusions...
