"AC" and "SMcD" have it almost right - the VX2000
picture is a tad better in bright light, but in
dim light, there is no contest... For magazine
reviewers, "new" is ALWAYS "better", and the
heavily-advertised is always "the best", regardless
of reality...;-) This site is useful for comparisons:
