I agree. Good as the TRV-900 is, the VX-2000 image is
better. Fortunately, one can do a lot with filters
during editing to make them look more alike (they
are not far apart, but the color, contrast, and
sharpness are enough different so that they do not
match without some work in post - though the TRV-900
is probably the best match for the VX-2000 other than
a second VX-2000/PD150). As light levels sink towards
oblivion, though, the differences increase, and are
not correctable...
