This camera is reviewed at:

If you are lucky, this is an earlier version, with
the daylight-infrared feature not defeated (you
can shoot amazing landscapes with this camera, if
so - see the examples). The TRV9 has rather loud
pickup of motor noises, making a Sony 908c mic
desirable. You may want an NPF750 or 960 battery
for long run time (the VF slides backwards to clear
the larger batteries) - and tape under the battery
to keep it from "klunking". I could never cure
a body-panel "snapping" sound, though... If daylight
IR shooting is possible, you may want to get a
no87 IR filter (gel is cheapest - cut it to fit behind
a 37mm UV filter or WA lens converter (Sony .6X or
HG .7X). BTW, www.bhphotovideo.com is a good source
for accessories...
