Ah, I never thought of that advantage to those normally
too-thick rims...;-) I generally either use a 37mm filter
and shade (and leave the shade on, possibly capped), or use
a 37mm->52mm step-up ring and use all 52mm accessories...
I remove the Sony cap when I buy a camera (I hate "dangly"
stuff attached to the camera...).
