Actually, I bought the TRV30 partly because of its
14-bit converter... The TRV30 CCD pixel-count is also
identical to that of the TRV50, but not to that of the
TRV20 (see the PC100 samples and text at:
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/camcorder--comparison.htm,
where various Sony *imaging types* are compared...).
The TRV20 (PC100/110) 1.2 megapixel CCD imaging type
(and results) is quite different from that of the
TRV30 (TRV50/PC115/PC120) 1.5 megapixel CCD imaging
type...
