If it is similar to the PC9 touch-screen, the answer
is "no" - too bad all LCDs are not covered with whatever
"ever-clean" material the PC9 screen is covered with...;-)
One hopes, however, that most controls on the TRV50 are
accessed using buttons - the "touch-screen" idea is a
poor one for camera control (the screen is hard to see
in daylight, and so many more "touches" are needed to
adjust the controls that the useful sound accompaniment
must be turned off (to save yourself and all near by
from the annoyance - and it is then lost for the record
start/stop indication). Also, true spot metering is
*the* fastest way to get poor exposure when operating
fast - I see little real value for this feature...
Then, there is that little stylus that must not be
lost... (where do designers come up with such bad
design ideas...???! ;-).
