The "flapping" along scan lines, and "stairstepping", on
contrasty edges are horrendous with this camera, alas.
Otherwise, the picture is excellent for a one-chipper.
I have real reservations about using this camera with
several common types of subjects...

It shouldn't - that rumor has been around a LONG time,
and even if true, the 900 is still the superior camera
in terms of picture quality and low-light range...
