I think my comparison of the TRV-900 and VX-1000 is on John
Beale's web page ( http://www.best.com/~beale/trv900/ ).
If not, I can e-mail you a copy. Bottom line: the TRV-900
is an amazing camera, but the auto (and manual) white
balance (and to a lesser extent, the WB presets) left
the image color balance too blue. Just about everything
else was wonderful - and you can manual WB through a
bluish filter, or off a bluish sheet of paper...
