I would not (and did not - I just bought one...)
let this stop you - and there is greater manual
control with the TRV-900, I think, plus a "quieter"
picture and better sound (and better viewing screen,
if that is important...;-), at a lower price. The one
advantage, as I see it, of the GL-1: a longer zoom
range - but I'm more into wide-angle, and it is harder
to fit common WA adapters to the GL-1 than to the
TRV-900... The choice for me was easy, but as always,
YMMV...;-)
