I don't know the answer. I have seen footage shot in low
light with the TRV-11 that didn't look bad, and I have a
TRV-9, which I would not rate good in low light, but I
have not directly compared the two. If possible, try to
find out if daylight infrared shooting is possible with
the particular TRV-9 available (it was disabled during
the mfgr. run of the TRV-9) - if so, that is a neat
feature for B&W-mode daylight landscape shooting (more
