Sharpness-Fanatic here....;-)
Um, this is where, OK as the above combinations are, a good
70-210 zoom may make more sense... But there are no good AF
Nikkor zooms in this range, currently, except the heavy/big
80-200mm f2.8 (which is VERY sharp after the widest stop
with a TC14C, but big/heavy/expensive/hard-to-focus-manually
[with the converter]) - which is why I keep a 70-210 E around,
and it is good by one stop down with the TC14A...;-). Stopped
down a bit, your two primes should be fine on the TC14A, though
the FL's aren't too exciting... (With a zoom phobia [which I am
close to having...;-], the 85 + 180 + 14A may be a good idea...)
