The TC14E will not fit either lens without a slight modification of the
bayonette mount - and, if my experience with the TC20E is an indication,
performance may not be up to the TC14B with non-I/S Nikkors (though the
TC20E was better on the 80-200mm f2.8 than the TC200/1...). I find that
the fairly rare and expensive TC14C (made for the 300mm f2 Nikkor, and
sometimes available for about $500 used from people who convert the
300mm f2 for movie-camera use...) a bit superior at wide apertures
at the edges and corners on these lenses to the TC14B. BTW, the
TC14 (not TC14A) is optically identical to the TC14B, and is
often seen at bargain prices... Non of the above will provide
for AF operation (not a loss for some of us...;-). I would avoid
the off-brand versions, except for emergency use...
