YES!! (But the Spark card is just part of it - you need compatible
computer parts and suitable FAST drives [BTW, one drive that seems
to work well for me is the 9-gig IBM DCHS-09W that is often available
at www.onsale.com for around $550 - just remember to properly
cool these drives...]. Also, if you get the Spark, download the
latest fixes [version 1.05 solved a LOT of problems for me!] - and
look at www.DPS.com before buying computer parts...) Results are
excellent, with no discernable losses when passing the video from
the camcorder through the Spark and Premier, and back out to the
camcorder. If you make straight cuts, rendering time is very fast,
but if you apply filters or a lot of transition effects, be prepared
to W A I T . . . ;-)
