I did not say that Spark would support timeline playback
from Premiere 5.1... (it won't with UDMA drives, and it
won't with my SCSI drives either) - but for normal
capture, editing and saving finished work to AVI files,
and playback of those files (seamlessly, in multiples,
for long videos), Spark works fine with UDMA drives
(no problems, no dropped frames), contrary to what DPS
says... I have made several one-hour videos using
the Spark card and software, and I find it quite a
workable system for making videos.
