Things to try...
- Use Spark version 2 software (2.01 is less stable for
me...).
- Play with the audio interleave numbers ("4-frames" on
record works best for me...).
- ALWAYS turn the camcorder on first, then open the
Spark software - close the software before turning
off the camcorder.
- Switch from the monitor video image ("video monitor"
button just over the "Spark" logo...) to the camcorder
before playback (you can use a TV hooked up to the
camcorder output to see the transferred video, whether
or not it is recorded...).
- Under "settings", then "playback", disable "scrollbar"
and "frame counter".
- Make sure the Spark card is not sharing an IRQ.
All of these may not be necessary, but I find they are all
useful in keeping my Spark system stable.
