No, actually, the lowly PC-1...;-)
For exterior shooting, the EZ30U was MUCH
better, but for wide-angle interior work with
windows showing daylight, the PC-1 worked better
(vertical window edges were better-defined, and
most else was comparable). Overall, the EZ30U
was a better camera, but it had some annoying
characteristics (like an inability to show
near-vertical lines cleanly...) that finally
encouraged me to use other camcorders instead.
(A TRV900 and a PC9 have replaced it now...)
BTW, at the moment I have VERY mixed feelings
about the Sony megapixel cameras, and have not
decided whether to keep them or not.
