But the waiting time for a global change on footage can be, uh,
excruciating....! ;-) Then one really appreciates the advantages
of analogue...;-)

Yes, and maybe... The Buz works well, but the TRV-9 (or Fast AV Master
DV card) may be better. I have tried both, but I have not done much with
either, or compared them side-by-side. My impression is that
there is less alteration/loss with the TRV-9 solution, but the Buz is
good. If you already have the Buz up and running, why not use it for a
while, especially if you are happy with the quality, and you have the
drives to handle its data rate...?
