Are you listening, M Tai? (To a user's comments on Sigma lenses, not quoted magazine "tests"...;-) Sorry, I couldn't resist! ;-)
The Minolta lens in either speed should be fine, and given the high quality and much lower price of the slightly slower one, I would get
it. If it proves very noticeably sharper than your Sigma zooms (which would eliminate camera/technique as sources of problems), I would get rid of the Sigmas, and replace them with Minolta lenses (non-zooms,
if possible).
