Umm, since writing the above, I received an e-mail from someone
who had the same thing happen to him: he inquired about payment
amount for an article for Shutterbug, he was given a figure, he
wrote the article (which was published), and he was paid 1/2 of
what he had been led to expect... Gosh, do you suppose there is
a pattern becoming evident here...? ;-) (I also found it
interesting that his offer was also well above the maximum amount
you insisted was the top payment anyone received for writing
a first-time article in Shutterbug... Also, gosh - I wonder if
a practice of offering one amount before the work is done, then
another upon completion, constitutes a form of "bait-and-switch",
fraud, breach of contract, or any other such thing...? ;-)
Anyone else with a similar experience with Shutterbug?
