Not directly...;-)
The MKE300 Sennheiser recommended by others is a
satisfactory short-shotgun, but it has some compatibility
problems with the VX-2000 - in AGC-mode, it "plasters"
the gain (it needs a mic pad, then it works fine); when
attached to the camera, it often picks up mechanical
vibration (it sounds like hum...); it is reasonably
good in light wind compared with some other short shotguns,
but can be improved by wrapping it in air-conditioner
replacement foam (see the end of the VX-2000 review, at:
