In TTL, choose any stop (or in-between stop) you want, unless the
flash ready light blinks before recycling, indicating possible
underexposure (set a wider stop). You can use the dial on top
for a guide to the range of stops available for a given distance
and film speed.

No TTL, so auto is the way to go. Switch the flash from
TTL to A1 or A2, depending on which stop you want to use
(which will change with different film speeds, and with
whether or not you are using the WA panel over the flash
tube).
