I have three SB24s, two SB25s, and one SB28. I will
be keeping the SB24s (rectangular head is easier to mount
home-made accessories on, and they are lighter - and I
prefer the WA edge-coverage characteristics [smoother,
more rectangular roll-off, useful for "shade-lighting"
deep rooms]) and SB28 (light and small, and easier to
lock into WA-coverage-only when replacing lenses than
the 24 - and I'm looking for a second 28 though I prefer
the 24's edge roll-off characteristics...). Still
"un-nerving" is the 28's slow turn-on/off switch
characteristic (similar to some of the F100's
switching - weird...;-). Overall, if I had to choose one
flash, it would be the SB28 (or mebbe the SB24.....;-).
