I usually don't pursue follow-ups to cantankerous posts..., but...,
gosh, you do seem to have problems accepting that I (and others)
may find useful an (unadvertised, and un-Nikon-hyped, BTW...)
characteristic of the SB-24 (you had an SB-25, which may or may
not have the same useful characteristic...). And, BTW, why do you
make the assumptions above? The ability of the SB-24 to light
evenly in depth under some conditions is also very useful when
using it for fill, retaining the original lighting modeling
without totally losing the shadow information. It doesn't have
anything to do with determining composition - it is a feature
that can be used (or not...) in a variety of situations.
Gosh! Guess we should ignore capabilities of equipment that
don't meet with your approval, huh? ;-)
