Yes, and yes! It is a nice flash, similar to the still-current SB-17,
but without the tilt-down head. For slides, you may want to add a cp05Y
filter to the flash head (it can fit under the accessory WA adapter
[I think KEH has one cheap, if yours is missing]) to bring the color
to a more pleasant balance. BTW, using an AS-7 shoe, or the F3 TTL
remote cord, you can set TTL flash fill-ratios (as long as the film speed
is not too high) by setting different ASA's on the body and flash shoe.
